King Media Services has been growing in
scope since its founding in 1977. Al Stone - an announcer in the
heyday of WNAP-FM, Indianapolis - began by providing musical identification
packages (jingles) to advertisers all over the country. His classic
radio voice, writing skills, musical abilities, and talents as a producer
attracted business from across the US, Canada, and foreign countries.
 Working on accounts both large
and small through the 80's and 90's, Stone learned that many of his clients
needed a larger array of services including business plans, marketing plans,
advertising campaigns, and commercial production. Stone applied his
energies to an expanded market. He added Media Buying to his skill-set
and developed particular expertise working with clients in medical services,
manufacturing and automotive industries.
Stone's most recent project is a
half-hour infomercial for a weight loss product, currently in distribution
nationwide. He recently served as Writer/Producer of a weekly
half-hour television program and Editor-in-Chief of an associated monthly
magazine. He has produced several radio programs and has written 12
books (two on the recording business, two on fitness and nutrition, and
seven illustrated children's books). Stone is the narrator of over
fifty medical audiobook study guides for nursing students. These are
lengthy and highly technical projects. In his "spare time" Stone
volunteers as a live reader for "IRIS", which brings 24 hour
programming to
thousands of visually and reading impaired individuals throughout Central
Indiana. |
